Feasibility and Effectiveness of LENA Home in the Every Child Succeeds Program

The LENA Feasibility and Effectiveness Study started in 2018 and will take one year to complete. Upon completion of the project, we will know if (1) LENA can be successfully integrated into home visiting, (2) children exposed to LENA have larger vocabularies than those who do not receive the intervention, (3) mothers using LENA engage in more literacy-promoting behaviors relative to controls, and (4) LENA improves parent-child interactions. These findings can be used to decide if LENA should be deployed more widely in home visiting and in other settings.
